Saving Over Time at Blue Rock Village

No apartments are equipped with geysers. Here at Blue Rock Village, hot water is supplied from a central source and is heated through three different ways:

1. Solar energy

2. Heat exchange through the air

3. Heat exchange through Blue Rock Lake

The piping from the central source to the apartments are fully insulated, which ensure immediate hot water upon opening of the taps, which in turn saves costs on water and electricity! No hassle of having to switch a geyser on and off and no sky-high bills for electricity.

Due to the high ceilings, double-glazing and all around insulation, costs for heating and cooling are also eliminated completely as your apartment will be at a comfortable and regular 22 degrees. This reduces costs immensely and is also eco-friendly. Shower to sprinkler system will ensure that not one drop goes to waste and will benefit the surrounding tree’s, gardens and grass.

We encourage people to Live-Work-Play in the village. If one works within the village, they will save on travel costs, avoid frustrating traffic and long drives to work and will lessen their carbon footprint.
